Firestone Truck Tire Prices Are Going Up

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC and Bridgestone Canada Inc. will increase the price of Firestone brand truck and bus radial tires on Feb. 1, 2019. Bridgestone says prices will go up 4% on the Firestone brand tires sold in the U.S. and Canada. The increase will be effective on all shipments beginning Feb. 1. Yokohama Recalls 529 RY023 Truck Tires!

Yokohama Tire Corp. is recalling certain Yokohama RY023 tires, size 295/75R22.5 (14-ply, G load rated), that have a DOT date code of 2318. The potential number of units affected is 529. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says the tires are being recalled because their rubber compound "may be incorrect, possibly resulting in the tread separating from the casing."
